 In September of 2002, we again traveled on one of Jerry Van Dyke's riverboat tours. This time we traveled the Rhine through Holland, Germany, France and Switzerland from Amsterdam to Basel with a side trip down the picturesque Moselle. We hope you enjoy our travel pictures from this vacation.

Day 9
Boppard, the Rhine Gorge and Rudesheim

Early morning in Boppard. A short walk before the boat sailed.

Now we are on our way through the Rhine Gorge with its lovely scenery and many castles

Past Loreley Rock and Pfalz Castle

And then to the town of Rudesheim where we toured the town and spent the night

Heidelberg

The next day was a bus trip to the lovely University city of Heidelberg and the view from Heidelberg Castle
